Heritage buildings in the North East part of the country contain high cultural value. Restoring these buildings, however, is more complex than contemporary construction.   This is a highly specialised field requiring a great deal of care, skill, and knowledge of the history of the region. This article explains why preservation in the North East demands an entirely different heritage building construction approach than modern buildings.   What Makes North East Heritage Archit
